Abstract: Childhood obesity is a serious and growing public health problem in Brazil and in several countries around the world, due to its associated comorbidities. There has been a notable increase in the prevalence of severe obesity, with a higher risk of developing comorbidities in childhood and adolescence, as well as persistent obesity and its complications in adulthood. The increased incidence and prevalence of childhood obesity is associated with a concomitant increase in non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), the most common cause of chronic liver disease in children and adolescents, affecting between 5 and 15% of children and adolescents worldwide, and reaching 38% in obese children. The gold standard for diagnosing NAFLD and its severity is liver biopsy, which is invasive and limited by sampling bias and complications, making its widespread application unfeasible. Most patients are asymptomatic, with a minority presenting nonspecific symptoms such as abdominal discomfort and fatigue. Hepatomegaly is one of the most common clinical findings, but it is difficult to characterize in patients with marked abdominal adipose tissue. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a method that allows, in a single examination, the precise characterization of liver volume and other biomarker parameters, such as liver fat and iron quantification, and myosteatosis. This project aims to evaluate the morphostructural differences by MRI, using the free and open-source Horos software, and laboratory metabolic differences between children with obesity and severe obesity from patients at the Childhood Obesity Outpatient Clinic of the Pedro Ernesto University Hospital (HUPE-UERJ). A significant difference in liver volume and amount of muscle fat was demonstrated by MRI, as well as higher TSH levels, in the group of children with severe obesity, as well as a significantly younger age in this group, highlighting the importance of including auxiliary indicators in the early detection of metabolic complications associated with childhood obesity.

<title>Desenvolvimento de um Sistema de Registro Eletrônico de Saúde para teleconsulta no SUS</title>

Abstract: Introduction: the COVID-19 pandemic, which began in 2020, forced the reinvention of the healthcare area, highlighting teleconsultation as an essential practice for remote guidance and care. This modality, previously not authorized by health professions councils, gained significant acceptance and culminated in the publication of Law No. 14,510/2022, allowing the practice of telehealth in Brazil. The promotion of telehealth, provided for in the Action Plan for the Digital Health Strategy 2020-2028, aims to integrate digital services into the SUS, improving care and efficiency. The spread of mobile devices and data plans makes teleconsultations possible. Studies indicate that telehealth can increase access and efficiency, reducing costs and waiting lists, as long as it is accompanied by equitable public policies. Objective: to develop an Electronic Health Record System for Teleconsultation in the SUS in accordance with current requirements. Method: applied research with an exploratory phase for the construction of evolutionary prototypes for system development based on the MVP (Minimum Viable Product) concept. Results: development of a prototype of an application for patients and a prototype of a web system for healthcare professionals. Conclusion: the results of this study highlight the technical and operational feasibility of an Electronic Health Record System for Teleconsultation in the SUS, indicating its potential to expand telehealth and digital services in the Brazilian health system. It points out that there is a limited amount of studies and tools in the scientific literature, especially with regard to solutions for the public health system. This lack of resources highlights the urgent need to develop and evaluate teleconsultation systems that are adequate to the particularities and requirements of the Unified Health System.

Abstract: Malignant neoplasm is a prevalent and highly lethal disease associated with population aging, smoking, exposure to carcinogenic agents, unhealthy lifestyles, and genetic predisposition. Advances in early detection and treatment have improved survival rates. Breast cancer is the most common type among females, with campaigns such as Pink October being used to raise awareness and promote screening. Oral treatments targeting hormone receptor-positive breast cancer have proven effective, but medication adherence is essential for treatment success. In this context, telepharmacy is a valuable tool for improving adherence and therapeutic outcomes. This project aims to develop an application for patients with hormone-dependent breast cancer undergoing oral treatment. The goal is to provide health education through simple and clear information about the treatment, as well as to support adherence to the prescribed therapy.

Abstract: Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is a major public health issue that requires continuous monitoring and specialized support. In this context, digital technologies emerge as strategic tools to optimize care, particularly in telehealth settings. This study aimed to develop a digital manual and an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based conversational agent to support nursing teams during remote care of patients with CKD. The research was conducted within the telehealth center of a nationwide private health insurance provider, involving 10 nurses with at least one year of telecare experience. The development process comprised a literature review, content selection and organization, creation of the educational manual using Canva, and its availability in a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). In parallel, the conversational agent was built in five stages, employing the Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) technique. Validation was carried out using a structured questionnaire via Google Forms, assessing user satisfaction, clarity of responses, practical applicability, and motivational aspects. Findings indicated that the tools developed facilitated access to evidence-based information and supported nursing decision-making in telecare. However, the study highlighted the need for a formal validation process of the digital manual with experts, as well as further studies to deepen the evaluation of the conversational agent’s impact on care quality. In conclusion, the digital manual and conversational agent represent a significant advancement in nursing assistance for CKD patients, strengthening professional practice and contributing to the modernization of healthcare services. Continued research in this field may consolidate the use of innovative technologies as strategic tools for nursing support and for enhancing the quality of patient care.
