Abstract

It is noticeable that the practitionersthinkers and the knowledgemeanings they create due to contact with cinema in daily life, within the educational networks they form and on which they are formed, by the uses of a number of technological artifacts, have been changing and expanding the possibilities of cinema, countering the conceptions that they are merely "spectators" or "receivers". From this context of plural movements, I investigated the use of today's cinema on the Internet in many different ways. This study was conducted with the ideas of educational networks, practitionersthinkers and the organization of knowledgemeanings developed in the investigations in/of/with the daily life, based on the thinking of Certeau, Alves and Oliveira, among others. I tried to understand the inventions created by the practitionersthinkers inside and outside of the Internet through uses of cinema within the context of free culture and public policies which result from these daily life movements, the Law nº 12.965/14, known as Brazilian Civil Rights Framework for the Internet. This investigation was developed within online time-spaces together with narratives, memories, pictures etc. through which I addressed some of the main social movements in cyberculture, the creation of technologies and the uses of technological/cultural artifacts in daily life. The source of this research were the website interfaces and the national and international social networks that share films freely as in free culture (films created and shared with free software, free hardware, freely licensed and/or in the public domain). Thus, I present as a result the creation of a catalog called Networks of Free Cinema, composed by the findings of the study and shared on social networks for multiple uses
