O mal dito: o discurso de oposição à Resolução 01/99 do Conselho Federal de Psicologia e sua história

Abstract

Since its inception, Resolution 01/99, which establishes norms for action in relation to the issue of Sexual Orientation, has faced pressure and constant opposition from sectors of the category. It is widely known that part of the resistance to its implementation is made by groups committed to religious beliefs. In order to deepen the understanding of this opposition, the present work aims to analyze the history of Resolution 01/99 of the Federal Council of Psychology and the discourse of opposition to it. To achieve this objective, a time frame and three criteria were stipulated for the selection of researched sources. For the temporal cut, two defined points were chosen, which circumscribe the beginning and end of the field. The starting point is the date of publication of Resolution 01/99, March 22, 1999. For the final time frame, the date of the closing of the judgment by the Federal Supreme Court (STF) of the Popular Action against Resolution 01/ 99, June 4, 2020. Among the criteria for selecting sources, the first is the formation of the interlocutor, that is, the opponent or opponent of Resolution 01/99 must have a degree in psychology and work in the area. The second criterion is the systematization of the opposition, that is, a constant performance over the years, accompanied by a production of textual, audiovisual or figurative elements. The third and last criterion was the dialogue with the Federal Council of Psychology. Proceeding with the operationalization of the criteria, the following characters were selected: Rozangela Justino, Marisa Lobo, Association for support of human beings from conception to natural death (ABRACEH) and the Support Movement group. Regarding the last two sources, for the purpose of this research, all information contained therein was understood to be the copyright and intellectual property of Rozangela Justino. This understanding stems from the following: all information shared by these groups was authored by Rozangela Justino; both groups were founded by Rozangela Justino; the fact that Rozangela Justino presided, as far as this research can map, both groups; the fact that they share a significant amount of equal information; the fact that they maintain affinity of ideas and political postures; and, finally, having the same aesthetic standard and being hosted on the same platform widely used for years by Rozangela Justino. From this interpretation, this research has as source, two characters: Marisa Lobo and Rozangela Justino. The sources of this work were texts published on blogs, videos posted on the youtube platform, books, reports and notes of the respective characters. At the end of the analysis of this extensive material, a table was prepared for each character with the discursive categories used to oppose Resolution 01/99 with its main reasons.
