Quem pode escutar na urgência? A presença de ‘ao menos um’ analista no hospital

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the possibilities and effects of the psychoanalytic clinic in the hospital institution, within the scope of subjective urgencies and the demands that arise from it. The interest in this investigation, which initially stemmed from work in an emergency sector of a psychiatric hospital, took the shape of research and could be carried out at the Pedro Ernesto University Hospital (HUPE-UERJ) in the Subjective Urgency Program. This is a participatory research, using the field diary as a recording tool. The question we inquire is formulated around how it is possible to offer a listening and a presence in urgent situations that are guided by the discourse of psychoanalysis, since the medical speech is the dominant speech in the hospital and that the psychoanalytic speech is radically different from it. That is, how to sustain in the hospital a practice that is committed to the subject and that proposes to twist the complaints and to support the anguish of facing the real in the attendance demands. Therefore, we start from the idea that an urgency only turns into subjective through the offer of the analyst and for this it would be necessary to articulate the theme of the urgency to the own formation of the analyst, of their desire and speech. During the research, we have concluded that there is a double side when we intend to work with the demands of urgency in the hospital: the patient's urgency and the institution’s urgency, in which both need a reception of the demand and a break time. These exigences that the analyst proposes to work by means of the offer of the word and a time to comprehend.
