O potencial subversivo da psicanálise: articulações entre revolução e prática institucional

Abstract

This work seeks to articulate the concepts of psychoanalytic subversion with the term revolution in Lacan's work, to then investigate the notion of revolution in Marx and, finally, to articulate the possible political and clinical incidences of psychoanalysis in institutional prac-tice. Revolution is not a term specific to Lacan's teaching, but it emerges throughout his work as a hinge point that allows us to clarify the way in which the discovery of the unconscious is made possible. Revolution, as a political syntagm, refers to historical phenomena in which the term itself changes its meaning, so that "revolution" serves to locate the conflicts that are pre-sent in certain historical turns. On the other hand, psychoanalytic subversion refers to a new movement of knowledge that allows the advent of psychoanalysis. Thus, we seek to outline, from the reading of Lacan's work, the dialogues established by the author with the different conceptions of revolution, from which he sets the fundamental element of psychoanalysis, which is the introduction of the subject of the unconscious in the relationship between truth and knowledge. This question unfolds a research previous research on the psychoanalytic dis-course in an institutional practice, in which we start from a moment of revolt due to the con-tradictions present in the institution, and a consequent will for revolution that could lead to a transformation for the better, until the invention of a space for psychoanalytic listening. Thus, we investigate in Marx how the revolution comes to have the connotation of a concept, in or-der to, in the end, seek to articulate the possible political incidences of Lacanian psychoanaly-sis in institutional practice, establishing its points of contact and distancing from the notion of Marxist revolution. We were able to locate that both revolution and revolt aim for power, and paradoxical as it may be, revolt can be of interest to the power it seeks to overcome. A true revolution would be one with which an effect of truth is achieved that does not allow the res-toration of a previous point. We also find that the change that psychoanalysis allows to en-gender in an institution concerns the possibility of making room for truth as the cause of the subject, which can affect the cycles and circles in which the Revolution finds itself in turns and that lead to failure.
