A organização discursiva do gênero digital comentário na rede social Facebook

Abstract

This thesis entitled "The discursive organization of the online text type commentary on the social network Facebook" aims to evaluate the strategies of linguistic - the direct and indirect anaphoric expressions - and discursive order - the explicit and implicit intertextual relations -, with the purpose of understanding how the discursive activity is established in the commentaries on the site Facebook. For this purpose, the research was based with Apothéloz (2003), Koch (2002), Marcuschi (2008,), Tedesco (2012) and in the dialogical approach of Bakhtin (1953/2010). Methodologically, the research was organized in an ethnographic perspective, since the research method of participant observation, in a public profile of journalist Cantanhêde, commentator of the journal O Estado de São Paulo. The data proved the existence of a discursive superstructure on Facebook, which is constituted by the source text and its comments that form metatextual pairs. Thus, on the micro level of the discursive superstructure, the direct and indirect anaphoric expressions were analyzed by their discursive functions and on the macro level of the discursive superstructure, explicit (quotation and references) and implicit intertextual relations (allusions) have been considered. In this sense, the linguistic discursive categories, at the micro level of the text type commentary , have oriented to: a) the thematic progression of referents of the source text in the comments, according to the functions of resumption, maintenance of referents and recategorization(evaluative or not) of referents; b) the maintenance of the point of view in the comments, based on the resumption, maintenance and recategorization (evaluative or not) of textual references used of the source text; c) the generalized sense of point of views in the verbal texts of the comments, according to the use of defined encapsulating expressions, which recategorize references of the source text; d) the argumentative inconsistency of the verbal comment text, according to the use of evaluative recategorizers; e) the insertion of new information, anaphoric indirect expressions, in the comments that make as much reference to the referents of the source text as to texts stored in the semantic memory of the authors of the comments.While on the macro level, the analysis of the linguistic discursive categories confirmed the relation of explicit intertextuality by means of quotation and reference, with discursive functions of resumption, maintenance and recategorization of referents and the relation of implicit intertextuality by means of allusion, according to the evaluative recategorization of referents encapsulation of referents and still to indirect anaphoric expressions. In addition, there is explicit intertextuality expressed by quotation and reference, based on the discursive functions of resumption, maintenance of referents and recategorization of textual referents, could still be observed in the comments hybrid character of explicit and implicit intertextuality, according to the discursive functions of resumption, maintenance of referent, evaluative recategorization, encapsulation and anaphoric indirect expressions. The data allow us to understand that the comment genre is not conversational, according to its discursive superestructure. So, it is a contribution studies that seek to clarify the peculiarities of the use of digital language
